Our School:

Washington School...a positive learning community taking pride in achievement.

Washington School prides itself in serving a diverse student population. During the summer of 2010, Washington School became a S.A.G.E. (Student Achievement Guarantee in Education) school. This program enables Washington School to maintain small class sizes in grades K-3, as well as offer a rigorous curriculum, extensive parental involvement opportunities, and high quality professional development for staff. In addition, Washington School is the recipient of a 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant that funds Lighted School House, which includes academic assistance and enrichment programming before and after school. The high expectations established by parents and staff continue to be realized, as Washington Elementary School has qualified as a Wisconsin School of Recognition in 2004-2005, 2005-2006, 2007-2008, and 2008-2009, 2009-2010, 2010-2011, 2011-2012, 2012-2013, and 2014-2015. As a School of Recognition, Washington School has received two grants through the Department of Public Instruction: a Schools of Recognition Grant, and a Spotlight Schools Grant.
